GEF’s VISION

Students in the Gloucester Public School District are engaged in, and enthusiastic about, their education, are prepared to reach their fullest potential, and are dedicated to community engagement.

GEF’s MISSION

The Gloucester Education Foundation drives innovation, encourages creativity, expands student opportunities and empowers educators to strengthen teaching and learning in the Gloucester Public School District.

GEF’s GOAL

To help the Gloucester Public School District be one of the best school districts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

THE ROBOTS HAVE ARRIVED!
The newest generation of robots from VEX Systems have landed in the Gloucester High School Engineering Department and are being unpacked now! GEF received major grants from Applied Materials Foundation, the Dusky Fund and Joe and Maggie Rosa to upgrade the school's robotics systems and equipment, and when school starts in September, engineering students will be working with state-of-the-art robots! Many thanks to GHS senior Austin Monell (shown in photo at right), for working throughout most of this school year to get the orders for the new equipment and hundreds of new components placed and shipped to the school.
