The Gloucester Education Foundation drives innovation, encourages creativity, expands student opportunities and empowers educators to strengthen teaching and learning in the Gloucester Public School District.

Chromebooks now available for Gloucester kids grades Kindergarten through 3rd who don't have a device at home. Pickup this Wednesday, April 1, 10-12 at 2 Blackburn Drive. Details below- Please share!

The district is now prepared to provide a Chromebook for students in Grades Kindergarten through Grade 3 who do not have access to any device (such as a tablet, a chromebook, a windows or mac laptop, or a desktop computer).

Chromebooks will be available for pickup this Wednesday, April 1. Chromebooks can be picked up at the central office at 2 Blackburn Drive located in the Blackburn Industrial Park during the hours of 10:00am - 12:00pm.

In order to do this safely and to practice social distancing, families must do the following:

Upon arrival, families should remain in their cars and form a line;
Families will be asked to drive up to the front entrance, one at a time;
Please turn off your engine;
You will be asked for your student’s Name, Grade, School, and ID Number (if you know it); and,
Your student’s loaned device will be handed out at the main entrance, again, one car at a time).
Most importantly, in order to move the process along, please RSVP your intent to come for a Chromebook to the following email address: chromebook@gloucesterschools.com. Please include your child’s name, grade and school.

Kindergarten families, please note that we will have to establish an account for your child. This may occur after you receive the device.

If a family is unable to arrange for transportation to the central office, please email the following email address: chromebook@gloucesterschools.com.

Once again, the district will provide a Chromebook, on loan for students in Grades Kindergarten through Grade 3 who do not have access to any device (such as a tablet, a chromebook, a windows or mac laptop, or a desktop computer).
