Power of Play Returns in 2024!
This beloved community event returns on Sunday 3/24/24 from 11am-3pm! Power of Play is a “Day of Play" at the GHS Field House organized by the Gloucester Education Foundation, run by a powerhouse team of community and student volunteers, and attended by hundreds of families.
Check out the 2024 activities, available in three languages. Old favorites will be back, along with new activities like a silent dance party at Move, an arctic exploration at Touch, life-sized Candy Land at Games, pendulum painting at Create, a mollusk tank at Discover, and magnatile madness at Build. It’s going to be bigger and better than ever!
Partners supporting activities this year include Kindred Gardens, Pathways for Children, GMGI, Sawyer Free Library, MAGMA, Seaside Circus, GHS Music, Backyard Growers, and the Cape Ann YMCA. Special thanks to the Gloucester Public Schools for all that they do to support Power of Play, from hosting it in the GHS Field House to helping get out the word to students and families!
