Spring into the Arts: Creativity Across Gloucester
This spring, Gloucester students are taking the stage, filling galleries, and sharing their creativity with the community.
GEF and Gloucester Public Schools are launching Spring into the Arts, a season-long celebration of performances, exhibitions, and showcases from April through June. Evolving from the Gloucester Student Arts Festival, this new format spreads events across the season, giving schools more flexibility and the community more chances to experience student work.
The season kicks off April 9 with Rock of Ages at Gloucester High School, with events continuing across the city at schools, Sawyer Free Library, MAGMA, The Cut, and more.
In May, student artwork from across the district will be on display all month at the newly renovated Sawyer Free Library, with a community reception on May 14 and interactive art for all ages.
