With the novel coronavirus pandemic leaving schools with unexpected challenges, additional support for staff and students is needed as they prepare for an academic year like none other.

Balancing work, children, remote learning, and family life in the midst of a pandemic is challenging new territory for all of us. With so much information out there it’s hard to know what to prioritize and how to cut through the clutter.

The annual Citywide Arts Festival is a collaboration between the Gloucester Public School District and the Gloucester Education Foundation.

Friends, after much consideration, we've decided to postpone our March 22 Power of Play due to the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation.

A fun night out for a great cause at Cape Ann Brewing Co! City councilor Valerie Gilman will sling the beers and 15% of all food and beer sales will support innovative, hands-on learning in our schools!

The Gloucester Public Schools Arts Festival is being held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 11am to 4pm.

Featuring fun for all ages, the program will include arts and crafts activities, giant board games, Legos, field games, family games, yoga, dance and much more. Check this space for more information as the date approaches.

Help GEF, and area nonprofits, welcome Gloucester’s children as they enter our schools for the first time. Watch a play about the first day of kindergarten, tour a school bus, participate in fun activities, meet your child’s principals and kindergarten teachers and get special gifts from GEF and other participating organizations. If anyone you know has a child entering kindergarten at one of Gloucester’s elementary schools, please let them know about this fun event! It’s always one of our favorites!

What a great Citywide Arts Festival we had on Saturday! Despite the gloomy weather, turnout was high, and the art and performances were terrific!

Join the Gloucester Education Foundation as we hit the pavement to raise funds as part of the 2018 Gloucester Pride Stride.
